Unpopular opinion: Online should be advanced to 1911-1914
Okay, we are done with clickbait title and can start to talk now. Soo, why would I think that online needs to be advanced? Short answer Mexico, Buildings, Economy, and longer answer well, its more complicated. First of all I think it would be really wise for Rockstar and TakeTwo to release Red Dead Redemption 1 Remake on RDR2 engine, most of the work with New Austin and Blackwater area are already done, its all just needs a bit refreshing( Well, in terms of tumbleweed more like a burial ), It could be done as standalone or as big DLC to RDR2 ( Specially since a lot of people asking for a remake, also PC never got first game ). This way we would get a RDR Online that's " up to date " with a Remake and will utilize complete RDR world map. Also as a bonus RDR map of 1911-1914 map has more buildings and most importantly ranches. Lets be honest, they would never add new ranches to 1898 map, just for them " magically " go out of existence in 1899 map and 1907 epilogue. ( Even GTA did not do that and advanced their timeline up to date with all new content updates ). Few examples of added buildings in epilogue 1907 ( Credit to Noru122 yt channel ) https://preview.redd.it/vure1iqjgnb61.png?width=1267&format=png&auto=webp&s=0c0115259124eb137d4bb8f1090229dc4c35df76 https://preview.redd.it/haxpqbopgnb61.png?width=1262&format=png&auto=webp&s=de4d58b6447356c29a72821d8ac927be5ba2d69f https://preview.redd.it/m33kg1zxgnb61.png?width=1265&format=png&auto=webp&s=68181b338e625a7900b15d3aa2960eef8ebfee4f With bunch of small houses, changes within whole map. Doubt all of that should be " ignored " and not used by players. Lets now speak of heists, bunch of people at least. Well, lets think from TakeTwo perspective, why would you add heists if your players are not spending their money/gold? Look, there nothing expensive to buy, a lot of players are sitting on hundreds of thousands of cash, hundreds of gold even now. How they gonna encourage people to buy gold bars if they have a stockpile now? ( Yes, all these nerfs to income for cash and gold are directly were aimed at new players ) And for old players, how we gonna be asked spend them? What they gonna add? A pair of jeans for 5000 dollars? An horse for 300 gold? Or its going to be like in GTA Online, where car performs same way as old car for 20-50k but now costs 1-2 million. They need bigger window for implementation of content, " cage " of being set 1 year before singleplayer is choking potential to add anything major, since it will be illogical to exist a year before and then vanish without a trace. Game needs money sinks before economy will get completely destroyed. Like I already said, even epilogue adds new buildings in free roam, which means more variety to be utilized for content, also after main events so places are now vacant or unused, they can also be utilized. Second, why not use ideas of GTA Online that work? ( For incoming jokes of Mk2 Oppressors, yeah-yeah you are unique and completely fresh ). Example would be yacht, in GTA its mosty flex unit and has no practicality, but it serves a good money dump, so why not add, lets say https://preview.redd.it/iuz2nuhllnb61.png?width=1800&format=png&auto=webp&s=6b010d2e7fef30e7a52701f28c5eed04b259ad9a It would be basically copy-paste idea of GTA, but in future maybe we could be " expansion " for it, like done some inner area into planning room to stage a heist on Guarma, since there was basically a war, its a good opportunity to rob the place. What else? https://preview.redd.it/zvt53ra3mnb61.png?width=1920&format=png&auto=webp&s=994295152a07870084dd87d138b7fbbee60b33c3 Remember this guys? Why not utilize them in same way GTA had import/export warehouse? Basically we invest in them and buy a property where we could do a " requested " collection or separate number of horses, stagecoaches and etc to steal, store and sale. Maybe expansion for moonshiner where we could buy our own saloon with illegal poker, blackjack tables? Maybe counterfeit cash business? Tabaco production? Wagon upgrades as more/better horses, adding new wheels and etc? Even more customization for everything including ranches and houses, mansions. Maybe same approach as GTA casino penthouse, where you buy separate rooms and spend ton of cash for individual items to decorate. Copying GTA ideas is not bad, if done correctly and taken only good ones, while leaving crazy stuff aside. There are so many things that could be added if the game did not have those shackles on " pre epilogue " map. ( And for love of everything that is holy, Blackwater NEEDs a gunsmith ) END ------------------- --------------------- --------------------- --------------------- ---------------------
Hello people of gta6, this is something I've been working on for a while now, it's my ideal concept for Rockstar Games' future title, Grand Theft Auto VI. This is a long post however, you have been forewarned. So, with all that being said, hope you guys enjoy it! Let's begin with an overview: Grand Theft Auto VI is the biggest Rockstar title yet, approached with the most advanced systems ever. GTA VI will be released on Xbox Series X, PS5, and PC only, with the online mode (more on that in the next part) releasing a month after release. The game itself takes place in 3 key locations (technically 4):
Vice City (Expanded and Enhanced), in the fictional state of Flores (based off Florida)
Carcer City, in the fictional state of Garrison (based off Detroit, Philadelphia, and Chicago)
The People's Republic of Del Castillo (Based off of Cuba and Brazil, respectively)
Liberty City (VERY linear, certain portions of story playable)
Vice City:
Vice City has been greatly expanded, and now includes 2 other key locations based off of Orlando and Tampa: Mamba and Paxville. Paxville is based off of Orlando, and includes 2 different theme parks: Fun-World & AnimalDome (both based off Disney World/Universal Studios and SeaWorld). Fun-World is a one-stop shop for having the most fun you can have. From fun-rides to the weird candy the man near the entrance sells, players can ride rollercoasters, take pictures with mascots, and do side-missions from the management and employees of Fun-World. AnimalDome is a bit more based on SeaWorld and appeals to players that want animals in the game, whether in hunting, fishing, or even exploring. A new side-activity you can do is hunt for legendary animals (all across the map) and donate them to AnimalDome for rewards. It ranges from lost fish in lakes and oceans near untouched waterfalls, all the way to rare birds in forests alike. The landscapes such as the marshlands are similar to Bayou N.W.A from RDR2, with alligators and crocodiles alike in wetlands, with many other secrets to uncover. One key icon is the Gator Chain, which is based off the real life Florida Keys, 8 islands pulled together by a single highway. Another key icon is the Green Pastures, which is based off of the real life Everglades, a subtropical wetland in the heart of south Florida, filled with all kinds of natural society. A new air force base, Fort Kayak, is also included within the state as well.
Carcer City:
The newest addition to the series, Carcer City is supposed to be gloomy and dark, that of rivaling Vice City's vibrant feeling with the lights shining at night. The roads are narrow and sleek, and are very easy to get lost in because of the grid zig-zag layout. At day, you find old factories blowing out dark smoke, with lower class people getting ready to go work in their old crusty cars. The feeling heavily changes at night when you find the darker parts of the city emerged. Get yourself downtown and on rooftops of buildings, you'll find yourself feeling like Batman looking down at all of Gotham City.
The People's Republic of Del Castillo:
This is solely an island based on the likes of Guarma. On one side, you have favelas in a small, compact, linear city with a mini-airstrip for an airport, while it slowly moves onto tropical forests on the other side of the island. Free roaming is fine, but be careful as there are others who are watching you. Be aware at all times no matter what. As for Liberty City, a small portion is only playable for certain missions only, incredibly linear.
Gameplay:
The gameplay is similar to that of a mix between IV/V (realism and arcadey-ness). The car feeling is similar to IV when crashing and whatnot, but also contains elements of V's driving. Interaction with NPCs is more realistic and grounded. Walk around in a suit and people ask if you have somewhere important to be, walk around in punk clothing and get trash thrown at you. Red Dead Redemption 2's interaction system with NPCs returns with a new change: multiple dialogue options. Say you choose to greet an NPC and ask if they need help with anything. They might say yes and you could be given with two choices: a) "Sure, I'll help out!" or b) "Alright, well, hope it gets done then!". You can choose the way the characters are. Aside from antagonizing NPCs, you can pave a path for these characters depending on the way you want. Wanted levels return, as well as the 6th star. Here is the new way the wanted system would react when given stars:
1 Star: Cops Chase You, Ram into Vehicle if needed. Given a ticket ($25, $50, $75, $100, or $125) depending on what the charges were, and the star is dropped.
2 Star: Cops use tasers, use batons and whatnot to attack. You can get "Busted" if they catch you.
3 Star: Angry Cops chase you and try to take you down, no exceptions.
4 Star: Same as 3 stars except more cops are deployed and more aggression is applied.
5 Star: NOOSE deployed.
6 Star: Military and State-Guard deployed, locking off all airports (unless broken into or in the air already). Very hard to survive.
A new gameplay experience that is added is backpacks or duffel bags. This will not be realistic in the sense where it will weigh down your character and slow them down. You can store different things in either one now, whether it be snacks for refilling health, armor, or other materials you can find. You can find collectibles across the map and store them in there. Another returning feature is the stats: energy, driving, and flying. Energy encompasses the other stats such as stamina, strength, etc. The more energy you can max out, the more stamina and more health you have. Driving and flying are the same as before.
Story:
In terms of story, I think Project Americas' narrative based off of the leaks seem very interesting, and also makes for interesting scenarios gameplay-wise during the smuggling missions. Another feature I 100% want back is heists. They were done amazingly in V with their setups and then finales where you had somewhat of a variety was fun for the replay ability. The same can also be said for the Diamond Casino And Resort Heist and its diverse offerings. For characters, in terms of playable ones, I would enjoy seeing 2 protagonists this time around, maybe a male and female if possible. The game could end with 3 endings, one where our characters become enemies, one where they remain neutral (friends), and one where they begin a relationship or something like that. Other characters could be possibly a funny crooked lawyer (think Saul Goodman), maybe another Phil Cassidy-esque character as well if we're heading back to Vice (IF that is).
Last Topic, Time Period (?):
So, this is the big one. I'm having some trouble picking what time period might fit well for my ideal game. Normally, I would say the 1980s, but even then some people wouldn't really enjoy it, so I decided to take a look at past games and see where this game might fit well in terms of time period:
With this being said, I think one time period that could totally work is the 2000s, but instead of 2008 like IV or 2001, I say mid 2000s: somewhere around 2004 - 2006, with some flashback missions dating back to the 1980s (1984, 1987, or 1989). Now, the internet as we know it wasn't fully developed like how it is today, but it was still actively rising. Funny internet videos and downloading was the norm during that time. Rockstar, with its satire can actively parody the internet as it did with IV and V. Instead of using the internet to buy cars, players now actively have to go to dealerships, each with their own specific kind of cars (legendary motorsport with their fancy cars, warstock with heavy vehicles, etc). Now, for the flashback missions. Thinking realistically, it's almost impossible for Rockstar to create different models and whatnot for two different eras. Now, what I PERSONALLY can see Rockstar doing, if they do decide to go down the flashback route, I can definitely see them create a VERY linear mission-design for a small portion of the map where a mission takes place, and changing some of the buildings and billboards to fit the era (in this case, the 1980s). For example, take Vice City for example. There could be a portion of the city where the buildings are abandoned, roads are cracked up, etc. There could be a story mission where it takes place in 1984, in that exact portion of the city, where the roads are freshly paved, and the buildings are lively and booming. RDR2's jump from 1899 to 1907 is justified, in the sense that most of the map is just environments without as many buildings as GTA. So yeah, that's about it. Hopefully you guys enjoyed it, I have some more stuff on the way! If you like to add some new ideas to the existing ones or add on ideas in general, please do so.
Hello everyone, happy new year! With recent release of Cayo Perico but not much else I wanted to touch base with the community holding out for GTA Online in Liberty City or Vice City, and debrief from the Cayo Perico DLC. Even though Cayo Perico came out unexpectedly (to us), it is a small but welcome addition to the GTA Online world. I believe that we still have reason to cling onto hope that that Liberty City will sooner rather than later, and Cayo Perico is a stepping stone to that demonstrating the map expansions are possible. While I no longer think that we will see a remastered city come this generation of console, but we still have GTA V "Expanded and Enhanced" coming in 2021 which may have much more than just GTA V itself.
Reasons why I think that GTA V "Expanded and Enhanced" is more than just GTA V with updated graphics
GTA V XB1 & PS4 versions already work fine in XBSX/XBSS/PS5. It looks and runs great, similar to a PC level of detail/performance. Why would a significant update be needed if it will be much the same if they didn't have big plans on top of that?
Cayo Perico proves that Rockstar's idea of "Expanded" can mean land expansion
Cayo Perico sounds like it was more a like a side project during COVID-19 WFH than something in the works for a long time. It is not unreasonable to think that Rockstar, with all their global studios now merged together, haven't been working on something big since the bulk of RDR2 was finished.
Why are they being so vague about the details, even to go as far as using a PS3 trailer for it... are they doing this because they are hiding something? Even being so far to be anticlimactic to take off the pressure from fans, and surprise us later.
What Cyberpunk 2077 has taught the overall gaming community lately is what happens when you overpromise and underdeliver. However Rockstar already learnt this lesson back in 2015 when they promised Heists in GTA Online, which kept being reworked and delayed until near the end of the PS3/360 generation and copped a lot of criticism for it. Basically every social media comment was "Where are the Heists", fans were frustrated. From that time onwards they never released details until about 2 weeks out from launch for a DLC. RDR2 was a bit longer, but only because they had other partners to consider. For this they originally gave it 1 year from announcement to release date, but it was delayed to 2 years, with PC one more year after that (which also wasn't even announced until one month before that). Here is a quote about what went wrong with Heists:
We aren’t ready to give an official release date yet, but we are confident they will be ready early in 2015. As you may have read on IGN, Heists were a much bigger challenge to create than we had originally anticipated. Early versions were simply not good enough and had to be scrapped more than once as we honed in on how we thought they should work. We’re happy to say that the pack we are now finalizing is something we are excited by and eager to release as soon as it is ready. We, as a company, have always been about trying to make something that is good rather than hitting a date. We apologize when this gets frustrating but firmly believe that rushing out second-rate content does not do anyone any favors. Hopefully you agree that yesterday’s new Trailer is a sign that Heists are shaping up nicely, but we still need some time to fine tune them. Because we need a little time to get Heists right, we are going to give you a small Christmas gift to keep you entertained until we are done with them.
Reasons why I think something related to Liberty City is most likely to be the next major GTA Online expansion to come
GTA IV & EFLC is highly regarded as a masterpiece, it's fanbase is still strong - many still prefer it to GTA V for a variety reasons, so it is a good candidate for a remaster. They can always make the GTA IV car physics, ragdoll, etc. come back again, perhaps as a user configurable option. Having the map there is the gateway to bringing these highly valued games back to a new generation.
The availability of GTA IV is terrible. It is only a Backwards Compatibility title on Xbox One (non Enhanced), runs like rubbish on PC - performance wise (and multiplayer is now removed), and the PS4 & PS5 doesn't have it at all. Most other GTAs are available for purchase, at least on Mobile.
GTA V is now 7 years old and the GTA fanbase is now bigger than ever thanks to GTA V & Online. A lot of new fans haven't had the opportunity to experience GTA IV because of the above availability issue. The new fans are desperate for a new (to them) GTA game, especially since it doesn't look like GTA6 is coming any time soon. Or maybe I'm wrong and 6 is coming soon as well?
GTA Online is progressively getting new content referencing to Liberty City or content ported from Liberty City (i.e The Tugboat, QUB3D), so they are not above re-using GTA IV assets or dropping hints.
It is clear that they have been taking the "lazy" route as far as making new content for GTA Online DLCs by re-using existing assets. Don't get me wrong there is still a lot of work involved, but still it is less work than starting from scratch.
But it would make sense that they will continue their more recent M.O. to re-use existing assets rather than start from scratch to save time, effort and cost.
Porting the Liberty City map to GTA V engine can't be that difficult, given that even PC Modders have already been able to do it unofficially (FiveM/OpenIV), so just imagine what Rockstar can do when doing it properly.
There were only about 10 multiplayer modes in GTA IV Multiplayer, it wouldn't be hard to bring those back to GTA Online game modes to recreate that missing experience.
With high profile departures of the writers such as Leslie Benzies, Dan Houser & Lazlow there is no doubt going to be a brain drain. I'm sure they were working on stuff before their departures, and I'm sure that RockstaTake-Two with all their billions of dollars will be able to find other top talent to bring GTA into a new era, but this will take time, and they can get things out in the meantime. The story of GTA IV, Map & other assets are already made, so this gives them a head start to put out games while they rediscover their Mojo to make GTA6 using new talent.
GTA Online is a Big Money Maker, it will make the GTA IV & ELFC remaster worth it because the remastered map will be used for both GTA IV & Online: LC (maybe slight map differences according to time period).
Why did they put so much effort into issuing cease and desists to OpenIV team for OpenIV's LCinV project (even though it used original game files, no piracy) if they weren't planning on doing something in this space themselves.
Cayo Perico aside (which is still quite small), Los Santos as the primary setting of GTA Online is still a bit stale after 7 years. They can't use 2013 Los Santos forever, surely. Not to mention that a new GTA release is already well overdue.
GTA IV Music Licensing speculation/hints
A little while back, a lot of music track licenses expired and they were pulled from the PC version, most notably Vladivostok FM was most affected with most songs removed. They put in some new tracks to replace it, which wasn't quite as good but it seemed like that was as good as it's going to get. But then they went ahead and relicensed the original tracks anyway so all the music is now restored again (about 16 months after being originally cut). Why go though all that expense of relicensing all that music if they aren't planning to capitalise on it in a big way?
Cayo Perico speculation/hints
Not much here directly, but I have played with it a little bit. The way that it's programmed is interesting. As far as I can tell, travel to the island is sharing a session with Free Mode rather than being a different game mode, which you can tell by seeing the player list stay the same as whoever is in the Freemode session you were in. There is no loading of a different game mode, it is just a cut scene. On PC you can even chat to people who are still in Los Santos. When you look at the map, you are located South-East of LS (just past USS Luxington), and if you move the mouse you can get locations of LS show up, it's just the map itself which is hidden. There is a glitch you can do to "free roam" the whole Island, or just go to the Beach Party standalone, it is clear that you are in Free Mode of an existing Los Santos based lobby. When I was glitched, I was able to take a Dinghy back to LS, LS was visible. about halfway there, the whole Cayo Perico just de-spawned similar to how the USS Luxington does, and also the weathenight cycle changed instantly too. When I was glitched but still on the Island, a whole bunch of functions were disabled like spawning cars, calling contacts, etc. What this shows me is that perhaps they are experimenting with how integration with Future GTA Maps will look like. Instead of loading a whole different game, or loading a different game mode, it could be one big Free Mode made up of all locations, the locations can not be directly accessed without triggering a cut scene, and the properties of how a Free Mode works can change depending on what location on the broader map you are in. One challenge I anticipate is that they wouldn't want GTA$ earned in LS to be transferred to a totally new GTA Online area. It is well known that a lot of it glitched and they'd want us to start getting rich again. They have also been experimented with holding separate currencies such as Arena Points or Casino Chips. I could imagine that they come up with a storyline where all your GTA$ Cash gets deposited into Maze Bank but then can't be withdrawn to cash or moved to another bank, and in LC you are forced to use a competing bank like the Bank of Liberty. Basically LS = only get Maze Bank, LC = only get Bank of Liberty. Cars/Planes etc. Can be not widely transferable (i.e. You MKII or Babushka holding a car has engine failure mid flight and crashes, or maybe you need to go to the Airport marker on food), and maybe some planes (i.e. Luxor) can enter on a visiting basis via. Cutscene of that vehicle but can't be saved at the destination into a personal hangar.
Final words
I hope this gives some good for thought. Keep speculating! At least until we get some solid info Here's to 2021.
Diamond Casino Heist Guide + TIPS - Written by /u/DatCamaroGuy
Diamond Casino Guide: So you decided that you wanna rob a casino, great! The Diamond Casino Heist is one of the best ways to earn money, but you're wondering, how do I get started? Well, you're in luck! This guide is going to teach you the ways to get the best out of the Diamond Casino Heist! Step 1: Arcade Alright to get started, you’re going to have to own an arcade. Now, it may seem better to go for the arcades on the top of the map to save yourself some cash, however, this will make all the preps much harder, as most of them take place in LS or Sandy Shores. The best arcade locations are 8-bit ($2,530,000, located in Vinewood) and Videogeddon ($1,875,000, La Mesa). When buying your arcade, none of the upgrades are necessary, as most of them are cosmetic. You’ll have to complete a quick arcade setup mission to access the basement where the diamond casino heist planning board is located. Step 1.5: Arcade Income While this isn’t related to the diamond casino heist, I thought I would put this in there. The arcade generates income based on how many games you have, going up to 5k per in-game day (48 min). The game doesn't matter, so you can just buy the cheapest one (Monkey’s Paradise, $90,000) and fill up your arcade with it. Step 2: Scope out casino After you’ve finished watching Lester scribble a big mess over the whiteboard, you’ll be able to start the casino heist. Normally, you’ll have to pay a setup cost of 25k, but since it’s your first time doing it, it’ll be free. After you’ve confirmed that you want to start the casino heist, you’ll need to finish the scope out mission. For the scope out mission, you’ll need to take a variety of pictures for Lester in order to unlock entrances for the heist. A full guide is linked here but I’ll sum up the most important ones.
Staff Lobby: This entrance is arguably the best entrance for the Silent and Sneaky approach. It gives you easy access to the control room where you can get the daily vault easily. It is also the best exit for most approaches as not many guards patrol it. The staff lobby should be around the back of the casino and should look like a white door behind some yellow bollards.
Security Tunnel: By scoping out this entrance, it gives you the ability to enter the casino as a Gruppe Sechs team for the Big Con. This entrance is the best if not one of the best approaches to the casino heist. The disguise will allow you to go straight to the vault undetected and back up, however, you will be detected when going back out of the casino on the casino access floor, so I would suggest getting some exit disguises to make your escape easier. The security tunnel should look like a big metal garage door with a security camera watching over it under the racetrack.
Sewers: The sewers allow you to burrow down right into the vault access floor giving you easy access as you are right next to the vault mantrap. The sewer exit, however, is only available in the aggressive approach.
Roof Terrace: At first glance, the roof terrace may seem like a horrible entrance/exit, however as it turns out, the roof terrace is actually a contender for one of the best aggressive exits. By taking the roof terrace, you can shoot down the guards at the racetrack while they're not being able to shoot back and then parachute down.
You’ll only need to do this mission once, and it will be completed for all future casino heists. Step 3: Vault Contents The vault contents mission is pretty easy. You’ll be given the rough location of a Duggan security guard, once you find him, you can either hack him, which can take some time but you won’t get the cops on you if you do it right, or you can kill him and grab the phone, which will save you some time but you’ll need to lose the cops before you can enter the casino. After you’ve entered the casino, you’ll need to bring out the sightseer app on your phone to find a wifi signal. After you’ve located the wifi signal, you’ll need to figure out the vault contents. Beware that you only have a limited time to do this (2 min). Since it’s probably your first time, I would recommend that you go through every camera to scope out each POI. The target will be cash since it’s your first time, which has a payout of 2.1 mil on normal. The first time will always be cash (payout of $2,115,000 on normal), but if it’s not your first time, the targets can be either cash, artwork (payout of $2,350,000 on normal) or gold (payout of $2,585,000 on normal). There is a 4th target, which is diamonds (payout of $3,257,100 on normal) however this vault content is only available for special occasions and has been removed from the vault contents. If you do the heist on hard by doing the same approach after you’ve done another one, the payout will be 10% larger. If you’ve completed all 3 approaches to the heist, you can cancel the heist which can be helpful if you’ve got a bad target. Link to this is here. Step 4: Selecting your approach Once you’ve finished the vault contents mission, you’ll be able to select your approach. There are 3 approaches to the diamond casino heist. Silent and Sneaky, The Big Con and Aggressive. For beginners, I would recommend alternating between Big Con and Aggressive, because those are the easiest ones. For Big Con, choose the Gruppe Sechs disguise for the easiest entry. Aggressive is good for newer players however it does end up in a lot of money loss. After you’ve got the gist of it, alternate to doing Silent and Sneaky in place of aggressive for a bigger payout. Step 5: Selecting your support crew After you’ve selected your approach, you’ll need to select your support crew before you can do any of the prep missions. Selecting your support crew is very simple. You’ll need a gunman to source guns, a driver to source cars, and a hacker to delay the nerve agent inside the vault. Selecting your support crew depends on the approach and target in the vault. For Big Con, SnS, any target EXCEPT for art, you’ll want the worst gunman (Karl Abolaji, take his Micro SMG on big con, heavy revolver on aggressive and on SnS the choice is up to you), the worst driver (Karim Denz, take his sentinel classic) and the best hacker available to you, for most people, this will be Paige Harris (unlocked when the Terrorbyte is purchased, gives 3:25 in the vault when undetected and 2:23 detected). For aggressive, you’ll still want to have the worst driver and best hacker, however, the gunman is up to you since you’ll be using guns a lot. I normally go with Charlie Reed (unlocked when purchasing a hangar), he takes a 7% cut (2% more than Karl) and gives you an assault SMG, however, you can get by with Karl, as every gunman gives you an SMG to go along with another weapon, which is still a perfectly fine weapon. For Big Con, SnS and the target is Art, if you and your heist partner can both hack very well, you can get by with Yohan Blair (takes a 5% cut and gives you 2:51 in the vault if you are undetected and 2:01 if you are). Step 5.5: Secret heist crew members There are 2 hidden heist crew members that can’t be unlocked by purchasing a business like most heist crew members. There 2 are Patrick McReary and Avi Schwartzman. Patrick McReary is a gunman who takes an 8% cut and gives the choice a Combat MG or an Assault Shotgun in aggressive. Avi Schwartzman is a hacker that takes a 10% cut and gives 3:30 undetected in the vault and gives 2:22 if you are detected. To unlock Patrick, he spawns as a random event around the map. He spawns in a police car that you will need to hijack. A guide is linked here. To unlock Avi, you’ll need to destroy 50 signal jammers that are located around the map. A guide is linked here. Step 6: Prep Missions Now that you’ve selected your support crew, you’ll be presented with a plethora of prep missions. Some mandatory and some optional. To complete these missions, I suggest that you use a Kuruma, Buzzard, or Oppressor Mk2 to make your life easier. In some prep missions, you will not be able to call Lester, so be prepared. All of the missions can be done solo but it makes it easier if you have a friend with you to help you out. Now onto the optional prep missions. Optional prep missions, are, as the name suggests, optional. The optional prep you should do depends on the approach. If you own a penthouse and have completed all of the missions, you will gain access to the security intel mission. It’s very easy to complete and you will only need to do it once. A nice trick is that the gauntlet actually spawns when you start the mission, not when the cutscene is triggered, so you can just shoot the driver and take the gauntlet. A guide will be linked below. Let’s start with Silent and Sneaky. For Silent and Sneaky, the optional prep missions depend on your skill level. If you’re an experienced player, you don’t need to do much, only level 2 security passes. Power drills you can do if you think you have enough time. However, if you are a very new player, I’d recommend that you do patrol routes, Duggan shipments (you only need to destroy 3 to get rid of their bulletproof helmets), level 2 security passes, emp device and infiltration suits and power drills if you think you have enough time. If you do all these, the heist should be a breeze. Going onto the Big Con, if you’re doing Gruppe Sechs, you don't need to do much. You only need to go through one door if you exit out the staff door, so you can decide if you want to do level 2 security passes or not. Patrol routes do make things easier, however are not necessary. Again, only do power drills if you think you have enough time. Make sure you do exit disguises. Noose and firefighter are exactly the same, so do firefighters since it has an easier mission. For aggressive, again, patrol routes make it easier but are never necessary. Make sure to do Duggan shipments. You can solo it, but it will be much easier with another person. If you don’t get them all you can just close the game and you’ll be able to do the mission again. Reinforced armor allows you to take more damage, so I would recommend it even if it makes you slower. Be sure to also do boring machine as it allows you to enter through the sewers. Make sure to also do level 2 security passes unless you really like hacking doors. Step 7: Finding people to play with Now that you’ve completed all your required prep missions, you need some people to play with. If you don’t have any friends to play with, I recommend checking out HeistTeams or the GTAO Discord LFG Channels to find people to play with. Make sure to have good communication between your teammates otherwise the heist will be in chaos. Step 8: Completing the heist Now that you’ve got a solid heist crew waiting to grab all of that sweet loot out of the casino’s vault, you’ll be able to start the heist. If you're doing aggressive, the plan is pretty simple, shoot your way in, grab the loot, then shoot your way out. The easiest entry for aggressive is sewers, and the easiest exit is the eastern roof terrace. If you exit through the staff lobby, you’ll get shot a ton when going over the racetrack, however, if you exit through the roof terrace, you can shoot the guys behind the stones on the racetrack then safely parachute down. For The Big Con, I’m going to assume you’re doing the Gruppe Sechs approach. By doing the Gruppe Sechs approach, you can pretty much waltz into the vault and back out of it, just be careful that this has some limitations. When going back up the stairwell/elevator to the casino access floor, the guards will have checked the vault and know it’s been robbed, so you disguise ain't gonna work anymore. I strongly suggest getting exit disguises, as they will greatly help your escape. The easiest exit for this is the staff lobby. For SnS, I’m not really going to go into too much detail here because there’s a full video linked below. What I will talk about is when to use the emp (If you did the prep mission). I recommend emp’ing when you’re at the vault access floor, allowing you to waltz into the mantrap, or when you're coming back up to the casino access floor and are in the mantrap. Be warned that if you decide to get the daily vault when you trigger the emp, the emp’s timer will run out before you can get to your exit, so plan ahead. The easiest entrance for this is the staff lobby and the easiest exit is also the staff lobby. Tips and tricks to complete the heist
If you are disguised, do not bump into any of the guards. They will detect you and start shooting.
In the control room, there is a button that you can press to open the door to the daily vault. One person has to hold the button while the other goes in and grabs the cash. This can be done with any approach.
Running and jumping is faster than just running normally, use this to your advantage while inside the vault.
Running in first person is actually faster than 3rd, so use this to your advantage when trying to knock out guards.
Don’t bother trying to escape the cops by hiding in an alley or something, either take your car into the sewers down by the LS river or take the heli that usually spawns on top of the police station. The sewers will result in you losing less money, however will be much slower. I will link both of these methods below in the useful media section.
Normally when exiting the casino from the staff lobby without any disguise, you’ll need to knock out a guard to the left of the swat fan to your right, before hugging the race track wall and then dropping down. I have found that sometimes if you run, the guard will hear you and detect you, causing you to get shot at. To prevent this, walk up to him making sure you stay out of his FOV then knock him out.
You walk much faster in the casino if you are in first person, making the vault contents mission much easier.
In prep missions, you can change any accessory (glasses, hat, ect.) to lose 1 star which is useful on missions where you can’t call Lester to remove your wanted level.
On some missions, you can lose the cops by entering your Terrorbyte/MOC/Avenger.
On some missions, you can lose the cops if you accept Lester’s apartment heist invite. This only works if you have a heist active.
In the hacking device mission where you have to infiltrate the FIB building, you walk a lot faster if you aim down sights on any gun, however, if you go into any agent’s LOS you will get detected instantly, so be careful when using this trick.
You can upgrade your getaway vehicles in the arcade by getting in them and pressing the button shown on the prompt that appears on the top left.

Credits u/Pepperooney_ for adding a bunch of info on the tips and tricks section u/what_it_dooo for suggesting the roof terrace and the hacking device trick
Next week's podium vehicle: Deathbike (there are only 4 vehicles left, the Deathbike, the Sugoi, the S80RR (since July 2019) and the V-STR, (since December 2019), but the last two are on the list for a long time. Also, it will probably be like that because next week will be an Arena War Week (according to rockstar games that said that next week, the Arena War class that will be played most of the time in the gamemodes gets a 50% discount. Date: The update will be probably be released at the 6th/13th of August because of next week's discounts and the podium list (if there is no vehicle left, the update will be released (they normally update the list if there are still cars left and the S80RR and the V-STR are on the list since ages and they are probably there so you cant predict it 100%). Also, if it would be on the 30th of July, we would get a trailer on the 25th of July (because the casino update teaser was released 5 days before the update, but there was no teaser trailer for the casino heist.) But it could also be a surprise DLC Topic: You can't really be sure about the topic, a leaker (Jan224) could have "teased" us, but maybe I interpreted it wrong and it won't be a police DLC. Other information: Songs of the band City Morgue will be in gta online soon. (so a new radio station will also be released). R* and City Morgue posted this on Instagram a year ago where they said there would be songs of them in summer 2020.) CONCLUSION: There will be the Deathbike and 50% discounts on a type of Arena War vehicles next week (Nightmare /Apocalypse /Future Shock). We can't be really sure about the other things. The update release date will probably be the 6th of August (or the 27th of August if every podium vehicle is getting used) Thank you for reading this.
R* Games HINTING at GTA 6 in GTA Online & RDR2 CODE
I have three very solid claims with evidence and one far fetched claim that show that Rockstar Games has been teasing us with GTA 6 and all but indirectly confirming Project Americas to be real. To understand this, we will actually take a look back at what Rockstar did with Max Payne 3 (2012) a game that released one year before GTA 5. GTA 6 CODE in GTA 5 & RDR2 - Recently TezFunz2 a very renown leaker tweeted that code alluding to "Project Americas" was found in the RDR2 game files and the name changed. This doesn't confirm anything, but it is interesting to note that R* featured this codename in RDR2 and changed it. R* ALSO did this in Max Payne 3, where in the games files was a full blown GTA 5 vehicle list that turned out to be REAL. https://preview.redd.it/n4m5twyl03341.png?width=598&format=png&auto=webp&s=aebb1694e7ad812c0f7937f748f34a2a90d69acb https://preview.redd.it/41xzt4vu03341.png?width=1577&format=png&auto=webp&s=f62c97fafcf18371ce1b70e2db86c30c2a8ed6d1 GTA 6 Cars in GTA Online - In September 2019, GTA Forums user Benefactor69 presented a very credible theory that since March 2017, R* has upped the quality of vehicle details in GTA Online. Alongside this, the percentage of classic cars in GTA Online has increased. This would coincide with the Project Americas leak which is "allegedly" going to take place in the past. It is a very long, interesting read.BUT it doesn't stop there. So up until GTA 5/Online, R* has never had a LIVE resource to test out things like vehicles and such. So essentially, if Benefactor69 theory holds up, then we are basically beta testing GTA 6 cars in GTA Online, haha. Anyways, before GTA Online. R* has done something like this before. In 2006, R* released Table Tennis. Originally Table Tennis was NEVER meant to be released. It was simply a tech demo to test out the new Rockstar Advanced Game Engine (RAGE). This is the engine that powers GTA 4, Red Dead Redemption, and GTA 5. Table Tennis allowed R* to fine tune the engine and the game ended up being released. This is FACT. This is THEORY but if we take a look at GTA 5 and what R* did with North Yankton, I theorize that with the two, short North Yankton missions in GTA 5, that this allowed R* to experiment with snow and expand on that in RDR2. The same can be said for GUARMA in RDR2. GUARMA is only accessible in Chapter 5. Why would R* spend so much time and detail creating an environment limited to one chapter? Could this be foreshadowing GTA 6 Project Americas and the fact that it would feature a South American location where jungles would be prevalent? Especially if drug running will be apart of the game and the real life history of this taking place in the South American jungles? Also with GUARMA, that could be R* testing out creating jungle environments for the Project Americas. Hinting in GTA Online DLC - This is the only claim I have that is more theory and far-fetched than anything, however I think it's interesting to note. With the release of the Doomsday Heist, on one of the facility computers there is a world map with circles. This probably means nothing but one of the circles encompasses Southern Florida, Cuba, and the northern part of South America. This is obviously where GTA 6 would take place according to Project Americas. I know that India is circled and that means nothing. But it's interesting that those three locations are highlighted. Just a few days ago, R* also released the Casino Heist teaser and in this 12 second clip, a globe is shown but only shows South America. I know this is reaching, but again, it could just be R* leaving subliminal hints. As they are renown for this going back to GTA 3 for instance with the billboard that says "See You in Miami." and one year later, GTA Vice City released taking place in the fictional version of Miami. https://preview.redd.it/w8u4kj2o03341.png?width=1890&format=png&auto=webp&s=7b176dcd65daebd461a340dc70b65bfbfadc03ee https://preview.redd.it/g2w061rq03341.jpg?width=1280&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=7d7141e96bf63ad99401938f9f8b5a68cd4c9071 Bogota - I discussed this in my post about Project Americas the other day. But it's interesting to still bring up that in December 2003, Take 2 Interactive registered numerous GTA trademarks. One of this is "GTA Bogota." Bogota being a city in Columbia which is notorious for it's history of drug running, the Medellin Cartel, and so much more in the 1970s-1980s lines up perfectly with the Project Americas leak. One thing that is also interesting to note, is that R* features the location of Bogota on their Twitter and website and have for YEARS. Now this probably means nothing as Paris is listed as well. But R* doesn't have a Bogota office or anything in that location and NEVER has. There are GTAForum posts dating back to 2010 discussing this. But why would R* feature this location on their social medias? Could be nothing, could be typical R* making jokes, who knows. https://preview.redd.it/t52egzus03341.png?width=634&format=png&auto=webp&s=7ca17a56fd5a4ddabd1bed78cc3cf1e538e668ea
How is this game so riddled with bugs after 6 years? It's time something is done about it
I know this post is long (sorry) but I'm genuinely interested to see how many people are in the same boat and what people's thoughts are. I recently started playing GTA Online again about 6-8 weeks ago. I had not played since the original heists were released, I think I stopped playing around the time the Zentorino was released as most of my friends stopped playing I became bored of playing alone. As someone who has come back to the game with all of this new content (MC Businesses, New Heists and Casino etc) I got back into playing quite a lot (Probably at least 200 hours+) and was excited to buy all the businesses and make loads of money and buy new content and stuff. Even playing alone I started I really enjoy myself. So it's now 6-8 weeks later and I've encountered SO many bugs. So many bugs that it's actually making me want to stop playing again because it's just ruining the enjoyment of the game. Here are some of the big problems I've had in this short space of time:
The game gets stuck a lot. I can move the camera around but can't get to the pause menu or close the game or switch session or anything. This seems to happen a lot with many interactions, specifically the casino and MC stuff. The only fix is to force quit through task manager.
I brought a nightclub, which like the other businesses isn't really cheap. I managed to accrue 1 full stock out of it for each department, sold it and then 2 of the options just got 'stuck'. They have techs assigned but they just never accrue any stock. I researched this on Reddit and rockstar support and I can see people complaining about it and pleading for a fix around the release time. There are consistent posts after the release date for months and months stating the same bug. Even within the last month, there are people quoting the same problem. Still, this is an active bug and nothing is being done about it clearly. The content was released over 18months ago, what is Rockstar doing? My night club now only accrues 2 variations of stock out of the 7 possible. I had every intention of upgrading it and using it but now it just seems like a complete waste of time and I wish I never brought it. I've tried many of the fixes and it hasn't helped and to be honest, I shouldn't have to try and do little tricks to try and use content that should have been repaired over a year ago.
The nail in the coffin for me was just a moment ago when I walk into the casino to do my spin for the day and land on the Furia supercar, I'm super happy, thinking I just won the best prize and then the game glitches out, allows me to move my camera around but I can't quit out or change session or anything (Like what I described earlier). I'm forced to quit via task manager, I left it 5 minutes in hope that it would still register my spin. I load the game back up and it didn't register and I have a spin still available. I took a picture of the spin but seems pointless because Rockstar clearly wouldn't do anything about it.
What really seems to baffle me the most is that I see videos shared on Discord, Youtube and other places with people sharing exploits online. Things such as how to rig the wheel or glitch out a heist to be able to replay last mission etc. This stuff gets instantly patched?! For some reason, Rockstar doesn't want people to win a car every time from the wheel. A car that you can't sell for money or gain more than once and still requires upgrading, doesn't really benefit anyone much. Yet they won't fix an ongoing glitch which literally renders the nightclub useless? A glitch that's been around since release. So again I have to ask. What is Rockstar doing? Feels like all they care about is releasing new cars. Their customer support appears to be awful and the game is RIDDLED with bugs. At least that's my experience anyway. What's everyone else's opinion? It's time something is done about all the problems surely. TL;DR - The game is full of bugs that have been around for quite literally years, yet Rockstar is not doing anything about it and is prioritizing releasing things like cars. Their customer support is awful/non-existant and surely it's time something is done about it?!
https://www.polygon.com/2020/2/25/21125430/gta-online-flying-car-deluxo-problems-hijinx By Cass Marshall Rockstar occasionally sends me emails about exciting new cars I can purchase in Grand Theft Auto Online. Perhaps I would like some kind of Lamborghini or Ferrari knock-off? I can’t really tell the difference between the endless array of cars constantly advertised to me in-game and via promotions. They all seem to drive real fast. Some of them have two doors, and some of them have four doors. Look, I never learned all the different kinds of cars, and at this point, I’m too afraid to ask. All that matters is I have gotten my hands on a flying, pink and blue murder car with a funny horn. It’s solving many of my problems! It’s also causing a whole lot of problems. But those problems are being drowned out by my novelty musical horn.
MEET THE DELUXO
Now, I’m no expert, but if you ask me, the Deluxo has everything a car needs:
Good color (pink)
Gun
Heat-seeking missiles that make a really satisfying lock-on sound
Goes fast
In fact, the Deluxo is, in some ways, symbolic of the problems that haunt Grand Theft Auto Online at the moment. After the launch and introduction of heists, we’ve seen a whole lot of content that escalates and expands on the basic GTA premise of “drive car, do crimes.” Players can take to the skies on hoverbikes, summon tanks, and drop orbital strikes from outer space. When I’m on the road, stuck in traffic, the urge to escape is overwhelming. Why be stuck on the ground with the rest of these paupers when I can take ... TO THE SKIES! Mountains? Military bases? Shipments of deadly weapons spread across the map that I need to destroy before a timer runs out? The Deluxo basically trivializes all of these concerns. A fool, an utter rube, might play Grand Theft Auto 5 for the single-player content and learn about the three protagonists and their histories. I climb into a Deluxo and blast the Backstreet Boys hit “I Want It That Way” as I shoot missiles at helicopters. It’s tough to carry the burden of such genius, but don’t worry, I have a solution: I strap the burden to the back of my pink flying car and run away from any judgments or consequences.
A FEW MINOR ISSUES
You would think that the Deluxo has nothing but upsides, and honestly, you’d be right if it weren’t for other people who have problems with the manner in which I conduct myself. There’s a ramp-up period before liftoff. There was one instance where I expected to take off, but instead, the Deluxo simply skidded around a corner as the wheels slowly lifted up into the body of the car. The car smashed through a gate and into my buddies, one of whom was holding a molotov. After a few moments of chaos, the Deluxo gracefully soared into the skies. Behind me, everything was on fire and my friends were all yelling. Yes, a few people got immolated, but you can’t make an omelette (flying car) without cracking a few eggs (friends). Another time, I was slowly following a target. This security guard had a keycard on him that I needed for a break-in. The quest giver suggested I knock the guard out, perhaps using a pistol whip. Deluxo had other ideas. The heat-seeking missiles locked onto him and there was the rapid, satisfying series of beeps. So yes, I may have fired a missile at the guy that turned him into salsa. And apparently, that’s a problem because I failed the mission! Listen, no one told me this when I bought the thing. It should be noted that I enjoy the element of stealth. If I am asked to track an enemy or escort a friend, I’m in the skies. But I also like to make the moment cinematic, so I play my novelty horn to add a certain sense of gravitas. The truth is, I play this way with the Deluxo to make its power a little less potent. The car is so powerful that it trivializes most of the game. It would be too easy to slip into a groove, soaring over the world, only half-paying attention to my surroundings, focusing on completing quests to earn the most amount of money possible. That’s certainly practical, but it sucks the fun out of the game. We’re hanging in there and playing regularly at the moment because it’s like being able to jump into a Fast and Furious movie at any time. Those movies are about family, talking about family, showing off our outfits, and doing cool car stunts. And right now the bad boy Dom Torreto of this family is the always unexpected Deluxo.
Thank you everyone for the positive feedback last week, it really means a lot! Last Week *** This post lists everything Rooster Teeth has released and announced from April 4, 2020 to April 10, 2020. You’ve been asking for it, Credible Leak for GTA VI. spoiler Everyone has been waiting, a credible leak for Grand Theft Auto 6. I will not be stating my name or anything, this is a personal throwaway account, But I do work at Rockstar North. This next addition to the title will be keeping the tradition of roman numerals, ( GTA VI ) but I will often refer to it as GTA 6, to make things easier. be sure to read everything, as I have taken the risk and time to leak a lot of vital information. —WARNING— * IF YOU DO NOT WANT A SPOILER ON THE MAIN PLOT OR FEATURES OF GTA VI, DO NOT READ THIS POST * First off I’d like to state that all previous leaks about GTA 6 is a hoax. All of the leaks regarding GTA 6 taking place in any other area than Vice City, is a hoax. I will be breaking down the characters, storyline, and more. Grand Theft Auto VI is designed to be the most developed video game in history, and redefine open sand box games, letting the player fully immerse in the world and storyline. In Grand Theft Auto 6 the game will take place in Vice City, but the previous storyline leaks etc, is all fake. The plot is completely different,. The game will host 3 protagonists, one being a middle aged white man named John Brooks. John is going thru a mid-life crisis, and lives on the returning area called Starfish Island. John essentially is a life long career criminal, and exposes the player to a new crime element, fraud. John was born in Carcer City, and moved to Vice City at age 17, after running away from his foster parents, not much is known about his previous life before then, except he was in a very poor family. John got into the fraud game in the early 2000’s, and he is 38 in game. he earned his money thru many fraudulent activities like credit card fraud, bank fraud, and did a few small bank jobs, and laundered his money with his own car wash business. He lives in a $1.8m mansion that he bought with his illicit gains, and the FIB are on to him. He borrows money from the local gang in Little Haiti, where fraud is very prevalent, and he starts getting back into his older habits to pay off the gang. The FIB notices this, and he ends up doing dirty work for the FIB, in order to keep his freedom. The second character is Samuel “Shotta” Stevens, who is a member of the Haitian gang. He is a black, Haitian based character with more character development, than Franklin from GTA 5. He is 26 in game. The game also focuses more on crime, and the gang element. The player will experience the brutal reality of the gang life in Vice City, in the slums of Little Haiti, from loan sharking and repossessing the unreliable clients, to brokering the sales, that being kilos of cocaine, for the South American Cartel. Samuel lives in a Section 8 apartment, in the Little Haiti Neighborhood with his grandmother, Amy. Samuel just wants to move out of the hood, but loves the gang lifestyle, and this gets him caughtup in the FIB drama with John. The FIB cuts him a deal also, if he can snitch out his gang, which the player can choose to cooperate, or refuse. This will change the storyline of Samuel dramatically. If you choose Option A: Snitch on the gang, You will snitch on the gang and work with John, who will show you the ropes of Fraud, and you both will defraud the bank of Schlongberg Sachs, commit multiple heists, and become a protege of John. Or of course you can choose, Option B: Refuse. Refusing will make Samuel a target of the FIB, and this causes him to gain more respect from his gang. The respect system from San Andreas is back, but new and improved. Samuel will expand his gang operations from Little Haiti, all the way to the Vice Keys, and beyond. The Third Character is a man named Xavier Gonzalez. Xavier is a latino man born in Vice City, he is 40 years old, and a cocaine kingpin. He lives in Downtown Vice City in his lavish $1.5m penthouse. Xavier is friends with John from the beginning of the story. Xavier is apart of the story no matter what option you choose, providing cocaine to John to sell, OR, Providing cocaine to both John AND Samuel, to sell together, and to strengthen the gangs funds. The gang system is similar to Red Dead Redemption 2’s system, and also has elements of GTA San Andreas. Xavier is also tied in directly to the nightclub business as well, having stakes in the returning Malibu Club, now run by the Jimenez Family, a latino Mafia, who has ties directly to the South American Cartel. Each Character has a different personality and lifestyle, and will be a exceptional experience for the player. Former characters from past GTA’s will be making appearances. Luis WILL be returning, being a manager of the Malibu Club, Stranger and Freaks missions are returning with a more in depth story for every one of them, and Michael De Santa and his wife, Amanda, will be returning also, living in a beach house, although their children will not make any appearances. The both do not play a VITAL part in the storyline, but will have stranger and freaks missions for any character, with all different outcomes. For example, passing by the state penitentiary, you may just recognize Lamar Davis, in a bluish grey jumpsuit, embellished with a pair of handcuffs wrapped around his wrists, demanding for a ride. The map of GTA VI, will be bigger than GTA V and RDR2 combined, having several counties, having Vice City, based on Miami, the Vice Keys, based on the Florida Keys, The Everglades, based on the swampy Everglades in Florida. The game will also feature Orlando, which is named Corlado, and Tampa, named as Gulf Shore City, but downsized a bit. The game will feature sprawling countryside outside of Vice City and Corlado, with countryside towns, named Canisville, Centura, and Sentinel Point, along with towns along the Vice Keys. There is an Air Force Base, based of off Eglin Air Force Base, named Fort Sentinel. The Ocean is the Atlantic Ocean, with more shipwrecks to discover, plants and animals, and more. The game itself has as many animals as RDR2, and the player can hunt if they choose, although this is just a more of a minigame. Vigilante Missions will be back, along with Taxi Missions. Character Customization will be better, from the belt on your waist, to the socks on your feet. Choose to your liking of luxury watches, rings, chains, earrings, featuring plain jane, to diamonds and rubies, emeralds, and more. Belts can be worn along with hightops, to lowtops and boots, and dress shoes. Pantlegs can be tucked into the footwear you choose, if the option is available. Tattoos will be back, along with hair customization. John is white so he can tan, or be sunburned, and the core system from RDR 2 is back aswell. Since the core system is back, you will have to also bathe, to stay clean, otherwise you may notice changes in your cores. You will have to eat to replenish cores, so you can cook in your safehouse, or go eat out in a restaurant, whether it be fast food or upscale. All characters can have relationships with women, similar to GTA 4 and GTA San Andreas. You will be able to buy extra safehouses around the map, and the amount of vehicles will be the same amount that are in GTA Online, and more. Every vehicle will be returning, and first person mode will be more enhanced, with more realistic vehicle interiors to immerse the player into every aspect of the game. South America will not be apart of the game, only Vice City and surrounding Areas. Skills from GTA V is also being integrated back, along with exercising, to boost strength. Agility is a new added skill, and Strength will affect how hard you punch, kick, or melee in general. Special Abilities so far, will not be coming back. This may be tweaked before release, but if they return, it will not be a major part of the game. Car Customization is more advanced, different leather trims can be changed colors, along with wood trims and marble trims. You can add satellite radio, which lets you listen to radio stations in Los Santos, and Liberty City, but so far there is only two stations from each of those cities. You can also listen to all the radio stations across the counties. Neon is back, new spoilers and liveries as well, Along with different colors of tint. Subwoofers will be a standard upgrade as well. The drug dealing system from GTA: China Town Wars is also returning, but a bit revamped. This is where the post office system comes in, from RDR2. Pounds of Marijuana sourced from Los Santos delivered by mail, to a post office near you. From weed to tabs of LSD, all the way to meth, heroin, and cocaine, you can reap major profits. Casinos will be returning as well, one being a resort, others being small-time casinos. You will be able to rent a room in the casino and resort. The casino is named as the Malibu Casino and Resort. Gunplay is improved with new realistic sounds. Interiors are just as detailed as GTA V or RDR2, if not more, I’d say. The insurance system from GTA Online will be integrated into GTA VI’s story mode, so losing a vehicle will not happen. There is an abundance of new and old activities, that being over 50 strangers and freaks missions, drug supplying, or drug running, similar to GTA TBOGT’s drug missions. You can hunt, as stated before, but is more of a minigame than a money maker. You can fish as well, as fishing is a very popular sport, in modern day Florida. There will be four strip clubs scattered around the map, one of them named Vanilla Unicorn South East, which is owned by Trevor Phillips, who is planned to make a cameo, only to be featured in a cutscene so far. Nightclubs as I stated before, will be a thing. There will be 3 nightclubs, where you can take part in a few activities, like dancing, where you can meet your date in game, or drinking and smoking. Bounty hunting will not be a thing, but dirty work for the FIB throughout the story will be similar. Pool and bowling is returning, along with player skills, exercise and working out also is a thing, as stated above earlier. Convenience stores and gas stations will feature many products you can purchase. Snacks, that being Phat chips, (different flavors yield more health and core restoration) candy bars, ( EgoChaser, Meteorite, Zebra Bar, and more) drinks, (E Cola, Sprunk,) Alcohol, (Pisswasser, Champagne, Logger) Redwood cigarettes, and cigars. The stores will be setup similar to RDR2’s store system. You can rob the stores, and also start a protection racket, and extort them. Pharmacys will be in the game, to purchase portable med kits, or you can rob the pharmacy for drugs and money. The way you eat can also affect your character’s health, and weight. Similar to GTA San Andreas’s system. Merryweather will return, but won’t have the same presence as it did in GTA V. Merryweather ends up not being able to operate on U.S. soil, and goes out of business as a hit is put on Don Percival, by one of the returning characters from GTA V. An advanced parkour system is integrated as well, similar to GTA IV’s. Gun stores will be prevalent as this is based off of Florida. The homeless man who found the diamonds, from GTA TBOGT will also make an appearance as a gun store owner, as he has proceeded to purchase and start a gun shop in the area of South Vice Beach. The black market for weapons is featured in this game as well, similar to fences in RDR2. You can also craft bombs/projectiles if you have learned to. Realism is a goal of this game, without being too overwhelming. Guns and weapons will need to be cleaned. If you shoot a gun, you will smell of gun powder, this may be noticed by civilians or police officers, and they will make comments about it. If you have not bathed, you may just get absurd insults slurred at you. If you have blood stained on you, and you smell of blood, people may give you weird looks, or may just make a call to the local Law Enforcement. As for those who DM me or ask about Strangers and Freaks, or mysteries and riddles, the paranormal world will be featured in GTA VI. You may encounter serial killers, or creepy sightings in dreary areas. Strangers and freaks will all have its own unique storyline. The weather system is IMPROVED SIGNIFICANTLY aswell. Hurricanes do take place, but only during certain parts of the storyline, and floods may occur in marshland areas and anywhere away from mainland. Melee Combat system is based off of strength, and Agility, which is a new skill, as stated above, and is improved heavily. Hand combat is influenced by strength and agility. Based on how hard you hit the opponent, you may bruise them, and bruise yourself. The chainsaw is returning as well. The limbs and gore is back from RDR2 Dialogue System from GTA San Andreas and RDR2 is back, and improved, with different responses every time. GPS and Navigation System will be improved, showing the quickest routes, from alleyways to the freeway. Every street will have a name, and the GPS voice from GTA IV is returning as well, get ready to hear “Turn Left in 500 yards, Bing Bong.” Planes will have autopilot, and you can fly to each city with plane tickets, or on your own. Driving mechanics will be similar to GTA IV’s, but combined with the smoothness of GTA V’s mechanics. Damage to the vehicle will be more detailed then ever, featuring airbag damage as well. Six star wanted level is back, with FIB being the 6th star. There is multiple law enforcement agencies. VCPD, GSCPD, CPD, SPPD, Highway Patrol, FIB, IAA, Viceland State Patrol, as well as the NOOSE. Being arrested results in you serving time, similar to RDR 1’s Jail time mechanic, showing you all of your charges while you sit in a cell. The first time you get arrested it will show your character being booked, and you will have to take a mugshot and be fingerprinted. Depending on the county or city you’ve been arrested in, you will be known to local law enforcement and even law abiding citizens, depending on how severe your charges are. Random events are more realistic than ever. depending on the wanted level you’ve attained, there is a system similar to the bounty system of RDR2. The more crimes you’ve commited that have gained attention of law enforcement, you have a chance of getting your hotel room getting kicked in by noose, your safe house getting staked out by undercover FIB, even being pulled over if you have commited a number of crimes in the same vehicle. You may witness muggings, or even be mugged yourself. You will encounter situations with homeless people to the rich and famous, with all different outcomes. Real Estate as stated before, will be available to all three characters. Businesses will be available, illicit and legal, from businesses to launder cash for the gang, to illicit businesses like credit fraud rings, to counterfeit cash. Safe houses will be available as well. A penthouse in Corlado, a modern mansion on Starfish Island, a beach house on Ocean Beach, a small quaint house in Canisville, a traditional house in Gulf Shore City, a vacation-style home in the Vice Keys, to small apartments in small towns like Centura or Sentinel Point. Each character will be able to purchase any of these properties, but it will be tied to just the one character that purchased it. Hotels and Motels will also be available to rent rooms and bathe in, one being the Gulf Shore motel, a dingy motel room for cheap, perfect for someone wanting a cheap stay. The Malibu Casino and Resort near Vice Beach, a 5 star luxury stay, with a two-story penthouse with a jacuzzi the player can bathe in, with views of Vice Beach, and the nearby Ocean Beach. There is 4 hotels and 2 motels scattered across the map, each with unique interiors and different amenities. Purchasing vehicles you can enter a dealership, or purchase online and have it delivered to a garage. Pegasus Concierge is returning. Certain stolen vehicles will have trackers, and will not be able to be modified, same as GTA V. The stock market is also returning, BAWSAQ and VLSM ( Vice Land Stock Market ) and can reap heavy profits as well. Character customization is not just clothing, tattoos, jewelry and hair customization. You can also purchase 3 different phone models. an iFruit phone, based on the iPhone Xr, a Badger phone, or a Whiz Wireless. You will also be able to purchase ringtones, as you were able to do in GTA IV. You can also purchase an iFruit watch, based on the apple watch, which you can take calls on, if you change your settings. As stated above, NPC’s will notice the clothing you wear, the way you look or smell, the car you drive, and the jewelry you wear, and will make comments on it. The game is set in the summer of 2018 to 2019 as the storyline proceeds. This game WILL BE PS5 Exclusive, for the first month. It is projected to not release until mid 2020, BUT MAY BE DELAYED. I have broken down the storyline, key elements of the game, and if anyone has anymore questions I will be happy to answer. I know so much about this game as I’ve been working on it since the start, and I’m not afraid to get in trouble, as this is a throwaway. I will not be responding to negative comments, claiming this is fake, because I will not waste my time with non-believers, only true questions. all content is confirmed unless it has been mentioned by me to not be officially confirmed already, and anything may be scrapped before release as cut content, but is unlikely
The theory: If it looks like they will eventually implement something, because they spent a lot of time creating models or artwork or trailers, they most likely will. This is the theory that has kept this sub going since before the game was , so lets document it in full. NOTE: This post contains possible spoilers about future DLC Current In-game content that fits this theory but waiting for trigger or new DLC
(This is the intro to the Alien DLC storyline which was left in the game along with the easter eggs to foretell about the future DLC/expansion. When the DLC is released OR the trigger is found, we will finally get a mission or series of missions containing the Asteroid crash, Chiliad/Children/Kraff/God?, Jetpack, alien egg(s), Zancudo vents, bunker, server room, UFO and other various elements. The mural depicts the easter egg being directly connected to the mountain UFO, which is the only visible tip of the iceberg of the mystery. The jetpack and "ufo with passenger" icons are not directly connected to the easter egg, they only connect through a series of [x] boxes which symbolize missing / removed content which will be filled in with DLC OR possibly unlocking 5 pieces of hidden content)
(They are static parts of the 3D model, and their texture is shared with the UFO, which is why you can see part of the word SEGREGATE on the left pilots leg. The pilots are entirely unfinished, hence the reason for the force field preventing close inspection. It's meant to be a sneak peek at an unfinished product. I'm excited to see these guys again November 18th.)
Cargo plane fuselage in Alamo Sea
(After the mission Minor Turbulence, Ron says "the hardware may be salvaged with dive gear" to which Trevor replies "Good idea, but it will take time". This reply makes no sense. You can go get the supposed salvaged weapons right away after this mission (if we assume the collectible weapons on the sea floor near the wreckage are the "hardware"). But what if that assumption is wrong, and there is more hardware inside the fuselage which R* needs more time to create a DLC / storyline for? OR we are meant to come back much later, IE after 100% and triggering something.)
("My Daddy.. Was not... Nice to me!" - Said right before killing Debrah and Floyd. Trevors mom is seen only after completing the main storyline, in a strangers mission called Mrs. Phillips. She is addicted to painkillers and mentions trying to find a man. Trevor goes to get her pills only to find her gone, and the storyline left open for more. While she only appears briefly, her appearance confirms Trevor may have a classic oedipus complex, where he wants to kill his dad and marry his mom. Throughout the game he lusts after older women who resemble his mother.)
Nerve gas / "New fragrance"
(Possible hookup for expansion that explains what this really was, and where it goes after being liberated from Humane Labs)
Radio Ad for beauty cream that will turn people into zombies
Sports: Air Hockey, Basketball, Gym, Pool, Ski Lift Criminal Activities: Car stealing, Drug dealing, Holdups, Pimping, Fencing (selling hot merchandise), Snitching? Food: Burger shot, Cluckin Bell, Drive Thru, Taco Van Special vehicles, buildings, and activities: Car Carrier (Skylift?), Elevator, Eye in the Sky, Metro Station, Tow Truck Lamar mission icon: Lamar once was planned to be a playable character after the Third Way originally scripted Franklin to die
(The Sharmoota Job (Also known as The Nice House Heist) is a cut heist that originally appeared in the beta of Grand Theft Auto V. It involved Michael and Trevor robbing the mansion owned by Martin Madrazo. The player had to steal a safe, Madrazo's prized horse and kidnap his wife. The only leftovers are the text entries describing the heist, a very old minimap icon and some mission-specific sound files.)
Horses & Horse Track
(Horses were part of the cut Sharmoota job, but we will see them return when the Horse Track / Casino DLC is released. See Leaks section for details)
"The Wanderer" RE 59
("Player has to return guy home using description of which way to go. bit of info for a pickup/easter egg." Official description of this voided event says it helps lead into an easter egg / pickup.)
VOID Solomon 4 - Harrier
("Plant bombs in the underground tunnel. Stop a convoy and detonate explosives so Harrier jet falls through hole in ground then steel it." There are only a few places on the map where this could be possible. Will post a picture of supposed location soon)
(It is possible that all these voided things could be introduced in the re-launch of GTA V in November. Many of these events happen within the storyline, or perhaps after a new storyline is rebooted)
Possible rumors, or maybe just difficult to source info (please help me source)
Ability to customize air and sea vehicles
Omega mission involving parachuting from the sky
Looking for more, will post anything I find. Content that confirms the theory (a.k.a. VALIDATION AT LAST)
(Of EXTRA special note is the VTOL functionality recently introduced into the game code. With this functionality in place, R* can finally set their eyes on the jetpack, which uses the same functionality to allow for vertical takeoff and landing, and also powered forward flight mode. They may be finished with everything needed for the Alien storyline by November... Or maybe not.)
